Magazine: Get Involved

We're producing a proper (physical) magazine - and want you to get involved!  The magazine will be, like this website, not-for-profit, meaning we won't be able to pay contributors and any money we do make will go back in to Student Voices.  However, we'll send you a free E-book version if you do!

How can you get involved?

At the moment, we need:

• Articles of 300 - 500 words (opinion and analysis).
• Poems, Book Reviews, Recipes, Short Stories
• Short Cartoons!

We need articles of about 500 words (no longer ones now please!).  Your article can be on anything - though recommended topics include politics, current affairs, social issues etc.  Take a look around the site for ideas.  Articles should be well written and flow well - they may be edited before publication.  Please try and write something new for the print mag, we can publish articles you've written before online. If you have a photo/ image you would like published alongside your article, please ensure you have the permission to publish it from the copyright holder.  Send emails to studentvoices@hotmail.com - do not submit articles for print via the website form. See terms and conditions. Deadline: 31 August.

You represent to us that any articles, photos/ images and any other content you submit is your original content or properly licensed content that you have the express right and permission to license to us, does not infringe or violate any law, rule or regulation or the rights or intellectual property rights of any person or entity (or encourage anyone else to do so), is not objectionable, inaccurate or inflammatory; and  is not obscene, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, is not an advertisement or solicitation of business or contributions.

Student Voices retains the right not to publish any content submitted to us, without need for justification or explanation.  We retain the right to use (online or in print) content submitted to us after initial publication without notification of the copyright owner.  We also retain the right to edit content submitted to us.  

By submitting a photo/ image to Student Voices, you agree that Student Voices reserves the right to publish the image on www.studentvoices.uk and across our social media accounts (details of which can be found here: http://www.studentvoices.uk/p/about.html).  You agree that Student Voices may publish photos submitted to us at any time after initial publication and alongside other articles and content without written credit to you, the copyright holder.
