If you're over the age of 18 on the 23rd of June (and are a British citizen or fit into one of these categories) then you are able to vote in the EU Referendum. To exercise your right to vote, you must be registered to vote by the 7 June. Register to vote here. If you were registered to vote for the May elections, you don't need register again.

What is it?
The British electorate are voting on whether the UK should remain part of the European Union, or leave it. The question on the ballot paper will be 'Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union'?
When is it?
Thursday 23rd June 2016.
